Unraveling the formation mechanism of hybrid Zr conversion coating on advanced high strength stainless steels

چکیده

This research unravels the formation mechanism of a hybrid conversion treatment including well-established Zr coating with silane-based organic additive and Cu-based inorganic additive. The deposition this was investigated on thermal oxide film Advanced High Strength Stainless Steels (AHSSS). has been characterized using advanced surface analytical techniques such as XPS, FEG-AES, GDOES, ToF-SIMS. results showed that simultaneous presence these two additives in donor-acceptor complex between amine groups Cu ions. final contains together Cu-aminosilane complex, deposited mainly around aminosilane layer outer surface.
